the FRAY

Multi-platinum band The Fray are celebrating the success of their sophomore self-titled album by heading out on the road this summer. Beginning June 12, the trek will cover 35 major cities across America, including a July 29 show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Tickets for this date will go on sale Friday, March 20 at 10 AM. Joining The Fray on the road are fan-favorites Jacks Mannequin. Plus special guest Vedera will open the area concert.

The Denver-based band recently released their highly-anticipated sophomore album on February 3rd and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. One month after release The Fray are still rocking the chart where they currently remain in the Top 10. The album's exciting debut is highlighted by the huge success of their first single, "You Found Me," which made its primetime debut in an exclusive video for ABC's hit show "Lost". Fueled by performances on the American Music Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Good Morning America, the infectious single has already sold over a million copies.

Forming in 2002, The Fray has struck a huge chord with audiences and turned their organic, grassroots success into worldwide sales of 3.2 million albums and over 8 million digital singles sold.

Jack’s Mannequin is touring in support of their critically-embraced sophomore set, The Glass Passenger. In a recent cover feature, Alternative Press hailed The Glass Passenger as, “a fantastic, special album.” “The Resolution,” the current single and video from the record (directed by Stephanie Meyer, author of "Twilight") has garnered its share of attention. The clip has remained a Top 20 video at MTV.Com and MTV2.Com since Sep 2008. USA Today called the single, "One of this year's most hope-filled pop songs.”
