Laughlin River Stampede

Save the date and mark your calendar's, cuz The Laughlin River Stampede PRCA Pro Rodeo Tour is coming to Laughlin, Nevada on March 27 - 30, 2008. Get ready for four days of jam-packed rodeo activities and good family watchen.
Over six-hundred of the toughest PRCA cowboys and cowgirls will be competing for over $200,000 dollars in prize money this year. Johnny Pope and Randy Corley will be sharing the announcing duties while Jeff Garner keeps you laughing with his arena antics and corny jokes. Sit back in amazement as bullfighters Matt Lucking and Dusty Duba take near hits from bulls while saving cowboys and make sure to arrive early enough to watch Janet Honeycutt display the American Flag like no other PRCA rodeo flag presenter. And let's not forget the Mark Chesnutt and Travis Tritt weekend concerts.

The Laughlin River Stampede is ranked in the top 20 of more than 700 PRCA sanctioned rodeos nationwide. According to event promoter Roy Honeycutt of Honeycutt Rodeo Stock Contractors Inc., "the only difference between the Laughlin River Stampede event and the much lauded over National Finals Rodeo annual event in Las Vegas is the ticket price and the availability of seats." Laughlin is a favorite among the cowboys and cowgirls, many of whom have attended the Colorado River event for almost a decade.

Ticket prices range from $7.00 General Admission Children seating tickets to the coveted and much sought after VIP Tent seating packages for $50.00. This years event will showcase plenty of entertainment by different speciality acts, vendors, appearances by Miss Rodeo America and the Quadrill De Mujeres Drill Team of Tuscon, AZ., the Mark Chesnutt and Travis Tritt concerts and plenty of  chances to win cash, prizes and tickets to next years event. Also, Sunday's performance is Tough Enough To Wear Pink Day, so come on down and help contribute to this very worthwhile cause.

Gates open at 11:30AM and rodeo starts at 1:30 PM daily.
